Scenic Attractions

Kruger National Park, Numbi Gate

The Kruger National Park is home to over 140 species of mammals and over 500 species of birds, not to mention a wide variety of amphibians, reptiles, flora and fauna.

Pilgrim's Rest

The one street town of Pilgrim's Rest offers a window into South Africa's history, complete with museums, refurbished buildings, a robbers grave, and the infamous Victorian-inspired Royal Hotel.

The White River Golf Course

The White River golf course offers a great challenge to the amateur and professional golfer. The old 9-hole golf course at White River has been completely revamped into a new and exciting 18-hole layout.

Chimp Eden

The Jane Goodall Institute Chimpanzee Eden, commonly referenced as Chimp Eden is a 1,000 ha game reserve and animal sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees, in the Umhloti Nature Reserve, near Barberton, Mpumalanga, South Africa.

God's Window

One of the most scenic views in South Africa is with out a doubt offered up at the famous Blyde River Canyon. This colossal canyon is famous for its dramatic window on the world called God's Window.

Lowveld Botanical Garden

The Lowveld National Botanical Garden lies just outside of town, a beautiful 159 hectare space dominated by rugged, rocky river scenery, and home to over 600 naturally occurring plant species.

Graskop

A short drive from Pilgrim's Rest lies Graskop, famous for it's scenic waterfall and for Harrie's Pancake Shop, known to serve up the best pancakes ever.

The Panorama Route

The Panorama Route is a scenic road in South Africa connecting several cultural and natural points of interest. This route, steeped in the history of South Africa, is situated in the Mpumalanga province.
